FULL DAY


Cooking Class full day
with Market tour + lunch and dinner
(every day from Monday to Saturday on request)

In the morning
8.30 am - 1.00 pm + lunch
- meeting in a bar in the centre of Bologna for a Italian Coffee Espresso or Capuccino.
Then visit the outdoor food market with the most beautiful food shops of Bologna where you can see, taste and buy the famous culinary specialties: Mortadella Bologna,  Parmigiano-reggiano cheese, Prosciutto di Parma, Aceto Balsamico,salami and cheeses, season fruits and vegetables, meet for Ragu alla Bolognese.
In the market we will buy the ingredients for the cooking lesson.

Cooking lesson 1:
Learn the techniques to prepare hand made pasta and to make “Sfoglia” thin puff pastry as provided by the certified classic recipes of the traditional “Cucina Bolognese”:
- tagliatelle
-
tortelloni ricotta e spinaci
- fillingi
- Ragù alla Bolognese (Bolognese meat sauce)

after the lesson
- toast with Prosecco or Pignoletto
-   lunch with the pasta that you have prepared + traditional dishes of Bologna and selected typical wines.
- dessert
- Nocino (sticky dark brown walnut liqueur) or Limoncello

In the afternoon
4.00 pm - 7.00 pm + dinner
  Cooking lesson 2
Learn the techniques to prepare hand made pasta and to make “Sfoglia” thin puff pastry as provided by the certified classic recipes of the traditional “Cucina Bolognese”:
- tortellini,
- garganelli or gnocchi
-  filling
- Tiramisu

after the lesson
- toast with Prosecco
- appetizers with  Mozzarella di Bufala, Pecorino cheese and Olive
-  dinner with the pasta that you have prepared + traditional dishes of bologna and selected typical wines.
- Tiramisu
- Limoncello

The cooking class will be held in English
It is not demonstration but we learn you to work just you made "sfoglia" and pasta

We can change the start second your wish

On request we can change the recipes of lessons with other typical recipes of Emilia Romagna and other regions of Italy (gnocchi di patate,  risotti, zuppe, spaghetti e maccheroni, zuccini flowers fried….)
