“Tigelle” are typical of the “Appenino Modenese”.
Ours is the traditional recipe.
Tigelli was the name for the refractory clay cooking disks where a chestnut leaf or a nut leaf was also placed, then a dough disk, then a leaf again and finally a clay disk on top.
