Tour Caseificio Parmigiano Reggiano, Acetaia Balsamico e Prosciuttificio

Venture out on a morning excursion to a cheese factory, where you will see all the working steps in the production of Parmigiano Reggiano D.O.P the KING of the Cheese. You will have the rare opportunity to witness the entire process, from the fresh milk that became curd, to the crafting of the curds by the master cheese maker Casaro the “BIG CHEESE” to the final aging process, where you will see in the “cheese library” more that 6 millions Euros of the King of th cheese. At the end of the visit you will enjoy “The Breakfast of the Champions” plenty of Parmigiano Reggiano Cheese 13 and 25 months…. and more…..

From the Parmigiano factory to the Acetaia, to see the secrets and the barrels of the famous Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena D.O.P “Black Gold” (certified Balsamic Vinegar, minimum 12 years old). Full tasting of Aceto Balsamico Tradizionale DOP, allowing you to compare 6-year balsamic dressing with 15- and 45-years balsamico, ricotta(FRESCH FROM THE CHEESE FACTORY) and balsamic jelly and gelato with balsamic dressing.

From Acetaia to one of the best Prosciutto – Ham producers in the region, where you’ll meet a family that for over three generations has been committed to the production of Prosciutto di Modena D.O.P, a Prosciutto equal to the more famous Prosciutto de Parma (but without the same name recognition, since it’s produced within the city limits of Modena and not Parma! but made with the same food regulation). There you’ll learn the careful craft that goes into creating one of the most delicious pork products this planet has ever known.. also here full tasting of fresh slices prosciutto di Modena D.O.P in a combination with some
nice Lambrusco Grasparossa Wine.
